Kristen Johnson, Paralegal

Kristen graduated from the University of Washington Tacoma in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in law and policy. Her passion for working in the justice system led her to immediately finding a position as a legal assistant in a local family law firm. Shortly thereafter, she transitioned to a role as a domestic violence legal advocate. As a legal advocate at a nonprofit domestic violence agency, Kristen assisted victims of domestic violence in both a civil and criminal capacity. She helped victims of domestic violence understand and navigate the legal system. Having gained knowledge and experience working within family law, Kristen advanced to the role of a family law paralegal in 2015. Kristen knows that no two cases are alike, and her array of experience allows her to assist clients with their individual needs. In her free time, Kristen enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her two dogs, Brooklyn and Rocky.”

Kamryn Stults, Paralegal

Kamryn joined our firm in January 2022. She graduated from Central Washington University in 2017, with a bachelor’s degree in law and justice and a minor in psychology. Shortly after graduation, Kamryn began her legal career in criminal law but has worked as a family law paralegal since 2019, which is where her heart lies. Kamryn understands that our clients are experiencing a difficult situation and strives to make the process as seamless as possible. In her free time, Kamryn enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Royann Mercado, Paralegal

After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University with a major in Law and Justice and a minor in Psychology in 2009, Royann began working for a small law firm in 2010, with the intention of eventually moving on to law school to become an attorney herself. However, Royann has enjoyed being a paralegal so much that she decided to remain in that supportive role. Royann has an eye for detail and enjoys working with clients to help with any issue that comes up in their case. When Royann isn’t busy being a paralegal, you can find her spending time in one of her gardens (vegetable and flower), working on a home improvement project with her husband, or just simply enjoying time with any of her three sons.

Anisa Padilla, Firm Administrator

Anisa joined our firm as our receptionist in 2018. She effortlessly mastered the position while establishing relationships with our clients as someone they could depend on. Anisa graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2016. She graduated with a double major in criminal justice and psychology. She is now pursuing her longtime dream of working in the legal field and becoming a Paralegal.

Hailey Chambliss, File Clerk/Discovery Coordinator

Hailey joined our firm January of 2018 and is an invaluable asset to our team. She is currently attending Tacoma Community College to acquire an associate of art’s in biology, while taking extra psychology courses.
